I am incredibly honored to have written a song titled "STRONGER THAN..." that would inspire a vision and special emphasis campaign of the 400 Years of African American History Commission ("YAAHC"), in recognition and celebration of the strength, courage, and resilience of women of all backgrounds and experiences - historical and present day; sung and unsung. I am equally humbled to have been named National Chair of this awesome movement.
The campaign runs from March 1, 2022 (Women’s History Month) through May 8, 2022 (Mother’s Day) and will feature: a recorded virtual summit of over 400 women on March 10, 2022, marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of Harriet Tubman; highlights of historical and present day women and their personal STRONGER THAN...stories; the national STRONGERTHAN...music video, filmed in Charlotte, North Carolina; and more. The "STRONGER THAN..." summit video, music video , and anthem will be publicly released on May 15, 2022.
Shout out to the 400 YAAHC, the National Honorary Chair Committee, and Co-chairs, the Executive Director, the Team Captains, and 400+ participants in 8 cities across the United States who worked tirelessly to bring this campaign into fruition.
