Dr. Core' S. Cotton is a seasoned attorney, Grammy-winning recording artist, published author, and founder of A Woman Evolves and the Wholeness Journey experience. Her career spans corporate law, creative performance, and personal transformation coaching — a multidimensional path built on a singular principle: alignment.
The Professional Foundation
Law taught her precision. Life taught her why precision matters.
As a Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Dr. Cotton spent years navigating the upper levels of corporate leadership — building relationships, solving complex problems, and fighting for what's right within systems designed to reward performance. That experience taught her how high-achieving women excel at building careers, and how quietly they can become disconnected from themselves in the process.
Her legal background informs everything she builds now — from the deal clarity frameworks in Empowered Deals to the structured, outcome-driven approach of the Wholeness Journey.
The Creative Expression
Every song, every story, serves the vision of wholeness.
As a featured vocalist with the Grammy award-winning Sounds of Blackness, Dr. Cotton carried a family legacy of music onto professional stages around the world. That voice — both literal and metaphorical — became central to her life's work. She is the National Chair of the Stronger Than campaign, a movement of women speaking what they have overcome.
She continues to create original music, write, and tell stories through the one-woman stage production and film adaptation of A Woman Evolves.
The Vision
A framework for transformation.
What began as a personal awakening — the realization that she did not have to choose between her identities, that alignment was possible — became a framework for transformation. Dr. Cotton built the Wholeness Journey to help women recognize their own Truth Triad™ of Values, Passions, and Strengths, and to guide them toward lives that are aligned both internally and externally.
She extended this principle into business through Empowered Deals, offering entrepreneurs and leaders the clarity tools they need to build sustainable, values-aligned businesses.
